Nick Knowles is an established awards host and conference facilitator. A true 'one-off' television presenter, Nick has talent, charisma and sheer personality - laced with an infectious sense of humour - witness BBC's DIY SOS, RTS Award Winning City Hospital, Behind Bars, All The Right Moves, Put It To The Test and his contributions to BBC’s Millennium Night, TV Revealed (2 x series 2000) and 2 series of UK Worst.

The all new Secrets of Magic for Saturday night BBC1 and the writing, research, development and presenting of the ground-breaking and wacky history programme Guy Fawkes and The Gunpowder Plot for BBC1 created an amazing number of viewers, almost 7 million.
His trip to Nairobi for Comic Relief produced an extraordinarily touching report which showed this former rugby player's softer side. A heart rending report for Sport Relief from Zambia followed and his love and involvement for Africa made him the obvious choice for BBC1’s 2007 documentary Mission Africa.
Nick has also presented Wildest Dreams on BBC1 which saw wildlife enthusiasts compete for a job at the BBC's Natural History unit. He is a great TV host and awards host. He has appeared on Radio 1 and presented DIY SOS 2010 on BBC 1, alongside his role as host for the prime-time Saturday night quiz show, Who Dares Wins with The National Lottery in 2010. In the same year, Nick also presented Nick Knowles' Original Features on the Home Channel.

Nick brings the eye of a talented director to much of his feature work. His direction of the prestigious film 30 Years of ITV is a landmark. His films for Meridian TV's News & Coast To Coast, ITV’s Road Show and Straight Up and BBC's Put it To The Test have been works of art – an art he applied also to the likes of GMTV, BSKYB and Anglia TV.
With a CV and style honed here, the US (CIO Arizona) and Down Under (C4), with 5 series of his own Ridgeriders for Meridian TV (riding historic trails with celebs on motorbikes) under his helmet, projects like RTS Award winning, Absolutely Loaded (Carlton) and his deep knowledge of Sport, Nick is one unique talent.

7th September 2009Sir Terry, 71, told listeners of the long-running Wake Up to Wogan that he would be stepping down at the end of the year.Chris Evans is due to take over the BBC Radio 2 breakfast show slot. However, Sir Terry will not be quitting the airwaves altogether as he has an exciting new show lined up. The DJ said this was the hardest decision he has ever had to make in his broadcasting career. Wake up to Wogan has an army of fans, 8 million of whom tune in on a daily basis to hear his idiosyncratic musings.
