If you love being served good food, don’t miss TV chefs including James Martin, Ainsley Harriott, Angela Hartnett and the Hairy Bikers whipping up their favourite summer dishes using the freshest local ingredients, live in the Summer Kitchen.

Entry to the BBC Summer Good Food Show also gets to access to Gardeners World Live - taking place at the NEC at the same time. In the Grow Your Own Garden, Monty Don will be talking about Growing your own fruit and veg organically and James Wong of the BBC Two programme, Grow Your Own Drugs is also making an appearance.

This weekend the Altitude Festival kicks off in the alpine ski resort of Meribel in France. The week long festival is packed with hilarious comedy talent performing in a skiiers paradise. The festival is organised by comedians Marcus Brigstocke and Andrew Maxwell who aim to make the whole festival carbon neutral and raise awareness of global warning. This year Al Murray, Rufus Hound, 4 Poofs & a Piano and Rich Hall will be performing.

Rufus Hound stormed the stage performing Cheryl Cole's number hit single and winning this years Let's Dance for Sport Relief. Hosted and presented by Claudia Winkleman and Steve Jones, the celebrities strutted their stuff for the benefit of both the audience to raise fund for sport relief
