Diane Simpson, After Dinner Speaker and graphologist
  • Conference Speakers

If you are looking for a funny, original and value-for-money speaker, then look no further then Diane Simpson.

Handwriting Specialist

Diana, a handwriting specialist, is a founder member of the British Institute of Graphologists and has a place on the Institute of Bankers Speaker Panel.  She has written three books on the subject of handwriting analysis and is a sought after and much acclaimed speaker …a recent success was being chosen as the main speaker at the prestigious Guernsey Institute of Bankers Dinner (the largest event held on the island) – which was the first time in history for this predominantly male occasion to be addressed by a woman!

Diana’s background includes lecturing on the Risk and Hazard Management Course at Loughborough University’s Centre for Extension Studies, working on high profile crime investigations and being awarded the classification of “outstanding” speaker by the Chartered Institute of Bankers (who actually mark and then grade the members of their exclusive Speaker Panel after every presentation!)

A True Veteran

A veteran of more than 50 cruises, lecturing aboard the worlds most prestigious cruise liners, she has also appeared on countless TV and Radio programmes in the UK, including Wogan, The Book Programme, Woman’s Hour and Stop The Week.  Overseas appearances include Canadian Broadcasting, Quatar Television, Latvian Television, Hong Kong Broadcasting and Overseas Forces Broadcasting

After-dinner presentations, luncheons, seminars, training sessions and informal gatherings….. Diane offers a range of talks appropriately tailored to her audience.  Before each event, clients are invited to complete a questionnaire in relation to the function, to ensure that the talk fits like a glove.  Diane’s humour is dry and witty, her anecdotes are first-hand and amazing …and hilarious (but non-evasive) audience participation being a well-established norm.

Quotes From Some Clients

“Excellent.  That’s the only word to describe your presentation to the club last week.  No – that’s a lie.  Other words include: interactive, funny, enjoyable, highly entertaining, and more besides, but that will do for now.  Thank you very much – it was superb!”

BUSINESS CLUB

“Your talk was such a great success with our members that I now face the challenge of finding a speaker to come anywhere near the high standard you have set”.

CANCER RESEARCH CAMPAIGN

“Well, what can I say?  Yours was a very hard act to follow and I felt so sorry for all the other speakers!  Can you come and do it again next year?”

MBA PUBLISHING

“On behalf of myself and the members of WEN, I would like to thank you most sincerely for your brilliant presentation last Wednesday.  I received numerous telephone calls the following day, they were taking a few moments of their time simply to voice their gratitude for a thoroughly entertaining and informative evening”.

WOMEN’S ENTERPRISE NETWORK

“Our Head of Strategic Implementation, has asked me to say a big ‘thank you’ to you for your most entertaining and enjoyable after dinner speech last Tuesday and apologies for not thanking you personally.  We all found it most enlightening and amusing and you, too, realised what a valuable and imaginative group of people we have”.
