Bobby Davro's Big Break

Bobby Davros made his TV debut in 1981, but his major breakthrough came with an appearance on LIVE FROM HER MAJESTY’S.  This led to his own Saturday night series BOBBY DAVRO ON THE BOX which immediately topped the ratings for six consecutive years.

Moving to the BBC, Bobby made three series PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE, ROCK WITH LAUGHTER and RUN THE RISK.  He also hosted Yorkshire Television’s WINNER TAKES ALL for 65 programmes.

In his rare moments away from the live stage or TV studios, Bobby likes nothing better than a game of snooker, a spot of fishing or a glass of Chardonnay in front of the telly.

"We recently booked Bobby Davro for a Gala Dinner at Alton Towers Resort for 150 guests. The dinner was part of an incentive programme for a home improvement retailer sales team and the audience mix was predominantly male ageing from approx 25- 60. Both Bobby and his management were great to work with from the initial enquiry right through to the live event. The act was tailored to suit the audience and Bobby made relevant references to the Management team and had some great interaction with the audience getting some guests up onto the stage and involved with his act. The material was a good mixture of old classics and some new material and went down really well with the audience. The overall event was a great success and Bobby, along with his management, was a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate in using them again for other events. "
Wendy Green, Conference Solutions Ltd

"Bobby Davro provided the entertainment for the 2009 MIA Awards event in London. He was a great success on the night for both the young and old in the audience. He personalised his performance for our industry and was a pleasure to work with. Recommended!"
