Fashion retail guru Mary Portas is on a mission to change the fortunes of the charity shop market. In a new series aired on Tuesdays on BBC2 starting tomorrow, Mary will apply her business acumen and people skills to change the attitudes of the elderly volunteers who man the shops and get us all through their doors.
The programme is based around Mary's personality and passion and if anyone can turn around the retail charity industries fortunes, then Mary is the person. She has a lifetime retail fashion experience with the likes of TopShop and Harvey Nichols.
