Former England RU Captain Lawrence Dallaglio returned from Australia in December 2003 as part of the victorious England World Cup team and was recalled to play for England in 2006.

Star of England and The Lions

He has won virtually every accolade available in the game, has represented England at every level and is recognised as one of the world’s best back row players.

Lawrence was one of the stars of the Lions’ triumph in South Africa in 1997, but his tour to Australia four years ago was ruined by injury and led to him going home after two matches.  He was picked for a third tour despite stepping down from Test rugby with England last year after winning 73 caps and captaining his country on 22 occasions.

Having led London Wasps to European and domestic glory in 2004 and his continued good form with earned him another Lions trip.   He made his England debut as a replacement against the Springboks on 18 November 1995.  He was in New Zealand with England in the summers of 2003 and 2004 and has two wins and a draw in seven outings against the All Blacks.

Lawrence Dallaglio was named Daily Telegraph readers' Player of the Year and Lloyds TSB Six Nations Player of the Year in 2000.
