Comedians Jo Brand, Paddy McGuinness & Keith Lemon through to final of Let's Dance for Comic Relief

2nd March 2009

Comedians Paddy McGuinness, Keith Lemon and Jo Brand were second round winners of Let's Dance for Comic Relief and have won places in the final on 14th March.  They will join Robert Webb and Dick & Dom.

Comedy duo Paddy McGuinness and Keith Lemon won with their version of Dirty Dancing's I've Had The Time Of My Life.  The routine featured Lemon - the alter ego of funnyman Leigh Francis - dressed as Jennifer Grey in pink, while McGuinness took on the Patrick Swayze role.

The judges, Anton de Beke, Paul O'Grady and Jamelia were unanimous in the praise.   Anton was "speechless", "elated, excited and weirded out all at the same time", whilst Paul gave them a standing ovation and thought they were "sensational."

Jo Brand donned blonde pigtails and a school uniform to recreate Britney Spears' Baby One More Time routine and won second place.

Others who performed but left with nothing were The Dragons - Peter Jones, Debra Meadon & Duncan Bannatyne, Blue Peter presenters - including former hosts Mark Curry and Janet Ellis, members of Hollyoaks cast, DJ Neil Fox and Nancy Sorrell,
