Life After the Apprentice

The charismatic 29-year-old, who was the darling of television audiences, has gone on to set up his own company and is now sharing his experiences with business audiences who want to learn the secrets of his success and discover why Sir Alan Sugar regarded him as a "great asset".

Tim conference and motivational speaking topics include;

  • Managing teams
  • Entrepreneurial flare
  • Family values
  • Inspiration, aspiration & motivation,
  • Mentors & mentoring
  • Networking.

Unlike prize winners from other shows, the human resource specialist wasn’t a one hit wonder when the spotlight faded.  After landing a one year contract with the health and beauty division of Amstrad, he remained in employment for a further year until announcing recently that he was giving up his £100,000 a year job to start a male grooming business of his own as well as The Bright Ideas Trust, a social initiative to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.

A Key Role in Society

Tim also performs a number of key roles with his new found position in society.  He is the Child’s Ambassador for London, and was appointed by Beverley Hughes, the Children’s Minister, to focus on the particular problems of the capital’s young people. As well as this he is also closely involved with the Jack Petchey Foundation, the ACLT and is as an active supporter of the NSPCC, Learn Direct and Connexions. He is the face of the British Library’s campaign to promote their services or to be ‘the human face of business’ as the Guardian put it.

“Thanks for your excellent contribution to the launch of Young London Matters yesterday. Your attendance and support was greatly appreciated by all present.”
Department for Children and Learners

“The feedback is that these were the best events that our people have seen Ernst & Young, run, that we rediscovered a sense of fun, that our external speakers were superb and as our keynote speaker I think you can take a lot of credit for that.”
Ernst & Young

Tim held the audience spellbound with his life story so far.  His talk was genuine and from the heart . He talked about the motivation that drives him towards success and the journey he has travelled so far. A truly absorbing evening, we had an audience of 200+ the Q & A session was lengthy and eventually had to be curtailed in order for Tim to get away. One of the delegates described him as – Fantastic – so down to earth and one of the best speakers she has heard.
