Sara is increasingly in demand for corporate projects and conference work. Her natural friendly style blends well with the formalities of the business world, and for many producers and their clients this has proved an irresistible combination.

Television and Radio

Sara began her broadcasting career in 1985 as a researcher on Radio 4’s ‘The World at one’ and the ‘PM’ programme.  She left the BBC two years later to become part of the launch team of the UK’s first daily business television programme – Channel 4’s ‘Business daily’.

In 1989 Sara returned to the BBC as a reporter and then presenter of BBC1’s ‘Business Breakfast’ programme where she interviewed chief executives, economists and politicians on a wide range of issues affecting the business community.  She is now a freelance broadcaster and continues to work with the BBC on a variety of other business programmes, including BBC’s  World’s ‘World Business Report’

Corporate Facilitation

Sara also works as a conference facilitator with many British and international companies across a range of different sectors, chairing their in-house meetings and bringing an independent voice to their debates.  Her work often includes chairing Question and Answer sessions and challenging the management team on the issues that matter to the audience.

Recently, she has worked with groups from the financial sector, including Prudential, HBOS, KPMG and Ernst & Young.  In the consumer products sector, she spent six weeks conducting workshops with the Swiss giant, Nestle, and has also worked extensively with the tobacco group, Gallaher.  In engineering with IMI and in the technology sector, with Hewlett Packard and the softwear company, Amdocs.
