Karren Brady Says No More TV!
Karren Brady, football’s first lady, TV star and business speaker, speaks to the Sunday Times about her lack of interest in pursuing TV stardom.
Television host, comedian and singer, Des O’Connor, has been presented with a CBE for services to entertainment. Des has been fronting popular television shows for over 40 years but in recent years has had much success with daytime television hosting ‘Countdown’ with Carole Vorderman and prior to that ‘Today with Des & Mel’ with Melanie Sykes.
Des landed his first TV series in the UK in 1963 and had early success with the popular entertainment programme ‘Des O'Connor Tonight’. He also had a number of hit singles in the UK in the 60s and 70s and has just released a new album, ‘Inspired’.
