Teenage entrepreneur, author and sailor, jellyellie was heralded by The Guardian as “the voice of the msn generation” and is well qualified to talk about a range of issues, from what it’s like being a teenager in business to entrepreneurism, education and technology.

She is an enthusiastic, passionate and highly articulate speaker and her natural love of people leads her to give extremely energetic and captivating presentations. jellyellie is regularly requested by numerous large organisations to speak as a representative of her generation on a wide range of teenage issues, including multiple BBC Breakfast appearances, BBC Radio 5 Live and the Trisha Goddard show.

jellyellie has also spoken at more formal events such as the Bookseller’s What Teens Want trade seminar, where extremely positive audience feedback showed she gave a highly acclaimed engaging, entertaining presentation. jellyellie has also spoken at a technology conference at the London Science Museum where the Head of Marketing from Orange, who was present in the audience, commended her for an excellent presentation.

From a young age jellyellie has been a prominent figure in the media for a range of unconventional entrepreneurial achievements. At the age of 13 she created the hit website bluejackQ.com, the world’s first and most cited website about bluejacking – the art of sending anonymous messages via Bluetooth mobile phones. bluejackQ, now with 5.5 million page views, took the media by storm and jellyellie was featured in national and international print, TV, newspapers, magazines, websites, books and academic papers.

At 15 jellyellie went on to sign her first publishing deal for her book How Teenagers Think, an insider’s guide for parents about bringing up teenagers. jellyellie was inspired to tackle this issue after noticing a lack of parenting books actually written by teenagers, so she set out to give parents a real insider’s guide into what it’s like being a teenager today. Not only does jellyellie use her views to broach 21 of the most common subjects’ parents and their teens face today – from sex and drugs to money, school and being spoilt – she has also interviewed a wide range of her friends from the length and breadth of the country to gather their opinions. These unique, lively interviews are a real highlight of the book as its obvious jellyellie has a real interest in people and is able to show adults the teenage world in a way they can understand. jellyellie and How Teenagers Think have received a lot of media attention from national and international, TV, radio, magazines and newspapers, and the book was serialised in the Mail on Sunday’s YOU magazine.

jellyellie is a highly motivated, unconventional girl and as well as entertaining the worldwide press, running an internationally acclaimed website and helping parents gain an insight into today’s teenagers. Not only is jellyellie an amazing inspiration and motivator for her peers, but she is equally well placed to work with adults as her incredible energy and passion combined with her high level of articulacy allows her to give adults a highly sought-after insider’s view into the teenage world.

“Maddeningly opinionated and outrageously precocious”
The Daily Mail

“In person, jellyellie is charm personified – bright, fresh, funny, articulate, and with a kind of uncomplicated self-confidence borne of rock-solid self-esteem.”
The Irish Examiner
