Chris Barez-Brown Biography

Chris Barez Brown - keynote conference speaker, marketing, branding, creativity, innovation, ?What If!
Topics:
  • Innovation & Creativity
  • Marketing & Branding

After some time playing at soldiers (he still looks good in green) and a stint as a training manager in heavy industry, Chris Barez-Brown realised that marketing was his thing. He now shares his wisdom with anyone who'll listen - he's a forward thinker and an excellent marketing, branding, innovation & creativity speaker.

Brand Marketing

He studied marketing in the UK and the States before  joining Bass Brewers initially in Sales Management and then moved into Brands Marketing.  His key roles included marketing Carling Black Label (Britain’s largest retail brand) and running Grolsch UK, an international joint venture.

Even with his penchant for ale there was only so much beer he could drink, so he left Bass to travel the world and learn some personal development theory.  On returning Chris ran his own marketing consultancy projects and taught and practised Reiki, (a complimentary therapy).

Innovation & Creativity

Chris joined ?What If! in early 1998 where he’s worked in all areas of innovation but has spent most of his time unleashing the creative potential of companies all around the world. Much of Chris’s skill is in creating the energy and the confidence in creative champions who then drive the change agenda from within the business to create an innovative culture.

In August 2001 he founded ‘The Learning Team’ where he has focussed much of his attention around combining his creativity experience with that of coaching and has developed the concept of ‘Creative State’ TM.

Writer

In 2006 Chris bought all his years of experience and thinking and authored How to Have Kick-Ass Ideas (Harper Collins).

Innovation & Creativity Speaker

Chris is a superb motivational speaker inspires thousands of people around the globe on how to build innovation, energy and confidence and how to unleash their creative potential. He is passionate about embracing creativity in everyday life as well as within business. His special area of interest is the place where organisational creativity intersects with personal creative development.
