DERMOT O'LEARY is one television's rising young stars.  His TV career started in 2004 with Shattered for Channel 4 which involved contestants battling against sleep deprivation. This was followed by the third series of SAS Are You Tough Enough? for BBC2 (nominated for a National TV Award 2004) filmed in the Namibian desert and Born To Win for BBC1, where we saw young promising athletes competing for a once in a lifetime bursary opportunity. Now Dermot is back on the airwaves again, after his own indie music show on XFM he is  Saturday Club for Radio 2 .

Spending the early part of his career as a researcher, Dermot now has his own production company. Having two credit's under it's belt with Dermot's Sporting Buddies and now Parent Trap for BBC3, they are developing several pilots, some including Dermot presenting, some producing.
