Jackie Bird is one of the best-known faces in television in Scotland and is in great demand as a conference host  or award ceremony host and an after dinner speaker.  She is also available for voice-overs, corporate videos and personal appearances

What She Presents

She presents the BBC’s news programme Reporting Scotland, and on Radio Scotland her Saturday morning show – Choice Cuts – is a round up of the week’s radio output.

Jackie is also called upon to host some of the most high profile programmes on BBC north of the border including the Hogmanay show and Children in Need and in 2001 she presented Arctic Challenge, a series on endurance racing filmed in Greenland.

Jackie has presented reports for BBC1’s Holiday programme and writes and produces documentaries for transmission in Scotland and for the network on both television and radio.

She’s a regular voice on Radio 2 and has worked on various music-based documentaries.

Jackie is a keen runner and swimmer and all round sporting enthusiast.
