As anchor of the main news programme ‘Scotland Today’ from 1999 to 2006, Sarah Heaney has handled her fair share of breaking news stories and has interviewed guests ranging from politicians to pop stars .
In 2004 Sarah fronted Crime Fighters UK for ITV1. Sarah is also a huge film fan and presented STV’s movie programme Moviejuice.
Sarah is always game for a laugh and loves a bit of adventure and has been lucky to travel from Mauritius to Mallorca to present competitions and feature strands for GMTV and LK Today.
Sarah has the authority and rigour to anchor the news but also the liveliness and sincerity to front live magazine and entertainment programmes such as Summer at the Top and S2Live. 7th September 2009Sir Terry, 71, told listeners of the long-running Wake Up to Wogan that he would be stepping down at the end of the year.Chris Evans is due to take over the BBC Radio 2 breakfast show slot. However, Sir Terry will not be quitting the airwaves altogether as he has an exciting new show lined up. The DJ said this was the hardest decision he has ever had to make in his broadcasting career. Wake up to Wogan has an army of fans, 8 million of whom tune in on a daily basis to hear his idiosyncratic musings.
