Adrian Chiles is a familar face on television and radio presenting a broad spectrum of sport and business programmes.  He is an accomplished interviewer and facilitator sparking conversation and ideas.  Adrian is a witty raconteur who is equally adept at after dinner speaking as he is hosting an awards ceremony.

Television and Radio

Adrian Chiles is one of Television’s most versatile and sought after presenters. He has most recently been main anchor of The One Show (BBC One); regular presenter of MOTD2 (BBC One and Two); and as host of The Apprentice: You’re Fired (BBC Two). Chiles left the BBC on 30 April 2010 to join ITV. He will front programmes to include GMTV and ITV's football coverage.

Adrian presented the hugely successful first series of Who Do You Think You Are (BBC Two), and has featured as a guest presenter on Have I Got News For You (BBC One) He spent 13 years as presenter of daily business news programme Working Lunch (BBC Two) and has also written and presented several one-off documentaries for the BBC including Asian Millionaires (BBC Two), Working in the Dark (BBC One), So What Do You Do All Day (BBC Two), It Beats Working (BBC One), Royal Millions (BBC One), and What Ron Said (BBC One).

As a radio presenter Adrian has worked on Financial World Tonight (BBC Radio 4), Wake up to Money (BBC Radio 5 Live), and 6-0-6 (BBC Radio 5 Live). Adrian’s own radio show Chiles on Saturday (BBC Radio 5 Live) won a Sony Radio Academy Gold Award in 2002.

Adrian’s first book We Don’t Know What We’re Doing, a diary of a season in the lives of West Bromwich Albion Fans and their families, was published by Little Brown in 2008 and was runner up in it’s category at the 2008 Sports Book Awards.

20th November 2009BBC Children in Need will take over BBC One tonight, with coverage starting at 7pm, with a variety of entertainment acts all doing their bit to raise money for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. Terry Wogan, Alesha Dixon and Tess Daly will host the evening form BBC Televison centre, featuring some of the UK's top TV, musical and theatrical personalities and acts. Highlights include a sneak preview of the Doctor Who Christmas episode and a special performance from the stars of Strictly Come Dancing.

Sir Trevor McDonald wins Top Newcaster at Tric Awards
11th March 2009The broadcaster, who came out of retirement last year to relaunch the ITV's News at Ten, saw off competition from Fiond Bruce and Fiona Phillips to win the top award. The ceremony held yesterday, also named Strictly Come Dancing as the best Reality TV Series, and gave a special award to Have I Got News For You, which returns for it's 37th series next month.
