Best known for her role as co-host Sky Sports Soccer AM, an amusing and irreverent look at forthcoming football matches, Helen Chamberlain is proving to be a popular and charismatic host and awards presenter at corporate events.

A keen Torquay United supporter, Helen Chamberlain is presenter of the popular British Saturday morning sports show Soccer AM and Friday evening sports show Soccer AM's All Sports Show, both shown on Sky Sports.
Previously she presented on two former Channel 4 breakfast shows, The Big Breakfast and RI:SE.
She is also a columnist for the Daily Star.

Helen is a keen poker player, who was trained extensively by "Mad" Marty Wilson. She finished second in the 2005 Poker Million tournament winning $400,000.
Helen owns racehorse Birkspiel which she purchased with some of her poker winnings, Birkspiel is trained by Simon Dow at Clear Height Stables in Epsom. On his first outing for the presenter in April 2006 he won.

The 2008 award was won by swimmer Eleanor Simmonds, who won two gold medals at the Paralympics in Beijing. The three finalists were chosen by a panel chaired by John Inverdale. 4th November 2009Record-breaking triathlete and Ironman champion Chrissie Wellington has been named Sunday Times sportswoman of the year for 2009. The 32-year-old from Norfolk, who took her third straight Ironman world title last month, won the Sunday Times award after four weeks of online voting.
