"The evening went extremely well. However, I was extremely displeased that John decided to make major changes to the script ON THE NIGHT, when he had been sent the script a week beforehand. Because of the time taken top make the changes to his satisfaction, it meant I was not able to be present at the reception beforehand to greet the guests; as a consequence we were 10 minutes late for dinner arriving at our tabler after all the guests had been seated for the evening. The maitre d' kept coming to ask when he could call people in for dinner because the chef did not want the meal to be ruined. It made it all very stressful for me. Also he went far to fast with the presentation of the awards, to the point where he was asked by Fiona James to please slwo down and then actually said into the microphone to the audience that he had been asked to slow down!!"
