The amazing Sir Ranulph Fiennes stands on top of the world

Sir Ranulph Fiennes is hoping to raise 3 million pounds for Marie Curie and after his two unsuccessful attempts to scale the summit in 2005 and 2008 kept publicity for this attempt to a minimum as he wanted to succeed without the build up.

Sir Ranulph has walked around the world, been to both poles and finally has achieved the goal of standing on top of the world.

He returns to the shores in due course where he will speak and share stories of the Mount Everest expedition as well as his other adventures to audiences far and world
