Jason Dawe is a Sunday Times journalist and motor industry expert who draws on over 20 years of commercial experience to make him one of the UK’s leading conference speakers, hosts and facilitators.
He has presented and been a guest expert on a host of popular TV and Radio programmes including ITV Used Car Roadshow, BBC Top Gear, BBC Watchdog, BBC The Morning Show, Radio 2 Chris Evans show, Radio 2 Drive Time, BBC Radio Scotland and The Tim Shaw Show on Kerrang Radio.
His extensive journalistic work in the Sunday Times, Times Online, Top Gear Magazine, Used Car Buyer, Autotrader and AA Magazine make him a respected commentator and consumer champion. Jason’s weekly car column in The Sunday Times has a circulation of 3 million and his current television show is watched by over 500,000 people per week.
Jason is an exceptional motivational presenter with ten years of consultancy and training experience behind him. He has written and delivered motivational training for worldwide sales conferences and led delivery of management training for groups of delegates from 10-150. In addition he has delivered change management programmes globally, working in Australia, New Zealand, The Far East, The Middle East, South Africa and South America.
Over the years Jason has worked with a broad range of clients including Dell, Ford, Toyota, Harley Davidson, Herman Miller, Hackett, Mercedes Benz, Scania, The Royal Bank of Scotland, Lombard and Trader Media. He also works extensively with a number of international automotive clients developing and delivering new vehicle launches.
Jason is also in demand as a speech writer and author of training courses on a wide range of subjects including change management and staff motivation. A trained auctioneer and natural raconteur Jason always brings a sense of fun and a huge amount of energy to the events he hosts.
An enthusiastic supporter of The Downs Syndrome Association and Great Ormond Street Hospital Jason has been involved in the Beaujolais Run charity car rally, from London to France, for the past three years and he has secured support for the event, which has raised more than £200,000, from his numerous industry contacts.
Originally from Cornwall, Jason now lives near Bath in the West Country where he runs a successful media production company, Bumper Media. He is married with two daughters. An avid rugby fan, Jason played in local teams until he suffered a broken leg during a match, he now puts his energies into supporting Bath and England. He is also the proud owner of a golden retriever called Tilly and a cocker spaniel called Molly, although he rather feels they believe they own him.
