Gethin Jones
Cardiff born Gethin Jones is the 15th Blue Peter male presenter. A former S4C presenter on such programmes as Popty and Uned 5, Gethin joined Blue Peter in 2005. Gethin won the title of Company “Bachelor of the Year” in 2003, and has presented such events as Mardi Gras and Jones, Jones, Jones in the Wales Millenium Centre, Cardiff. Gethin excels at most sports and is a talented musician also. He was Captain of his university rugby union First XV, had trials with Sale RFC and is qualified to fly a plane. He won the Northern British University Sport Association Championships and also represented the Lancashire under21 teams.
He has faced numerous and diverse challenges on Blue Peter and has even appeared as a Cyberman on Doctor Who!
Gethin's childhood
Gethin has a grade 8 in violin, Grade 6 in the piano and he was the leader of his county orchestras.
Strictly Come Dancing
Gethin really came into the public eye with this great performaces in serie 5 of Strictly Come Dancing partnering Camilla Dallerup.
