HAGAI SEGAL a UK based lecturer, consultant, columnist and keynote speaker specialising in geo-strategic and economic risk, the Middle East and modern terrorism.
Hagai has a long and impressive track record as a consultant, analyst and advisor to numerous banks, finance/investment houses, fund managers, international corporations, business groups and politicians. He specialises in analysis of geo-strategic and economic risk factors – specifically developments in terrorism, the Middle-East and Asia, and developments in US Foreign Policy - and how these factors affect key economic fundamentals, oil and gas price and security, and the global economy.
In his academic role, Hagai lectures in Near and Middle-Eastern Politics at New York University in London, he has previously taught at the University of London, and guest lectures at Universities from the USA to Australia. A regular guest on national and international television channels (including CNN, the BBC, Sky News and CNBC), and numerous national and international radio stations, Hagai also writes for a number of newspapers and publications around the world, including a regular column for the South China Morning Post (Hong Kong).
