Ben Ainslie and Ben Fogle Carry Olympic Torch

As London 2012 approaches, The Olympic Torch Relay is winding its way through the UK, and amongst the thousands of torchbearers are some of the county’s biggest sporting names including Jonathan Edwards, Ben Ainslie and Ben Fogle.

The torchbearers will carry the flame through more than 1,000 cities, towns and villages, and other well-known sporting faces taking their turn are Zara Phillips, Didier Drogba, Jason Gardener, Amy Williams and Marcus Trescothick.

The Olympic Flame stands for peace, unity and friendship and is carried by 8,000 truly inspirational Torchbearers.
