Emily Maitlis in Hip Hop Debate

Newsnight presenter and awards host Emily Maitlis and Writer Jemima Khan flexed their brains in a debate... about hip-hop music.

Emily chaired the motion ‘Hip-hop doesn’t enhance society, it degrades it’ at the Barbican in Central London, and Jemima hosted the debate online.

Other speakers included Shaun Bailey, adviser to David Cameron, U.S. civil-rights activist Jesse Jackson and American hip-hop artist KRS-One.
