Marc Koska features in the video for a new song to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
The short film has been made to accompany The Song for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, which was commissioned by The Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Kamalesh Sharma (Chair of the Commonwealth element of the Jubilee celebrations) and Lord Watson (head of the main working Group for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations). The song is sung by Laura Wright.
The three minute long film features about 100 faces from around the Commonwealth as a montage of head and shoulder portrait shots changing into each other.
There are five well known faces in the film, including Sir Michael Caine, Sir Christopher Lee, John Hurt and Katie Piper and all the other participants are members of the public, of all ages and cultures, and all with good reason to be included.
All royalties from The Song, both from the writer and record company Universal/Decca, are going to the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust.
