Charlotte Hawkins presents ITV breakfast television show Good Morning Britain, and is one of the UK’s most versatile and natural corporate hosts and TV presenters.
Charlotte worked for Sky News since early 2007, and during that time covered several major breaking stories; including the developing flight disruption due to volcanic ash, the on-going Middle East conflicts and the guilty verdict in the Josef Fritzl trial. She was also live on location for Sky News' 2010 General Election coverage. On a lighter note, Charlotte covered the Baftas and reported from the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in LA for Sky News.
As well as working at Sky News, Charlotte has also covered Five News' flagship show and has also appeared on ITV1's This Morning as a news reviewer.
"Excellent! We love Charlotte! and are already planning to use her again next years event. She is our number one choice."
Charlotte also tasted the glamorous side of TV with interviews with movie stars including Will Smith, Matt Damon, Johnny Depp, Russell Crowe, Renee Zellweger and Cameron Diaz.
Before joining Sky News, Charlotte worked at ITV Meridian, co-presenting Meridian Tonight in the South East for four years. She regularly presented the programme live on location, most notably from Tonbridge the day after the multi-million pound cash robbery. She also co-hosted the current affairs discussion series The Big Story.
After graduating from Manchester University with a degree in English Language & Literature, Charlotte completed a postgraduate diploma in Broadcast Journalism. She went on to join ITN Radio, where she was one of the first journalists at the Paddington rail crash, reporting live from the scene.
Charlotte has also presented both The London Boat Show and The Southampton Boat Show programmes for ITV1. She is currently filming a series on classic cars, and she writes for Sussex Life magazine.
Away from the camera, Charlotte loves the outdoors, and spends her time horse-riding, cycling, and going for long walks with her rescue dog Bailey. She can also ski and sail but is terrified of heights.
She married her husband Mark in 2008 and they are currently renovating their home in the country and are planning to adopt more animals.
