Kaye Adams is one of the country’s most experienced live TV and radio broadcasters. Probably best known for her seven years at the helm of ITV’s award-winning, daytime chat show ‘Loose Women’, she is a regular presenter on Channel Five’s ‘The Wright Stuff’ and Radio Five Live. She is currently presenting her own breakfast radio show, 'Call Kaye', on BBC Radio Scotland every weekday morning. Kaye is charismatic and engaging awards host, conference facilitator and after dinner speaker.
Kaye is a sought-after contributor on a range of discussion and panel shows from ‘Countdown’ to ‘Question Time’. She currently presents topical films for BBC's The One Show, and regularly appears in the studio to discuss the issues raises.
Kaye started her media career as a journalist trainee at Central Television in Birmingham after graduating from Edinburgh University with an MA hons in Politics and Economics. Her first coup was a one hour interview with Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher as part of an award-winning documentary about Women In Politics.
"Kaye Adams was extremely professional and entertaining. Her approach was spot on, taking the time to thoroughly prepare ahead of the event, networking with attendees at the pre-dinner drinks, over dinner and entertaining 400+ people ahead of our awards presentation."
Over time, Kaye branched out into discussion shows and it’s in that area that she found her niche. She presented seven series of 'Scottish Women' for STV, her own show 'Kaye' for BBC2,’Esther’ for BBC2, 'Central Weekend' for Central TV and from 2000 till 2007, she anchored ‘Loose Women’, where her journalistic training, incisiveness, and humour allowed her to steer the rest of the female panel in a popular and engaging mix of topical issues and entertainment.
More recently, Kaye emerged victorious in Celebrity Mastermind and sunk without trace on Celebrity Masterchef.
Away from her broadcasting and writing commitments, Kaye is also well-known for her corporate work. Because of her extensive experience of handling live and unpredictable situations, she is the ideal facilitator for conferences as well as video presentation. She has an ability to quickly pick up complicated briefs and communicate messages to an audience in a personable but informed manner.
One of the UK’s best loved TV presenters, Kaye Adams also makes an excellent conference facilitator, after dinner speaker and awards host.
