Nick Weston Biography

Wild food enthusiast, chef, writer, speaker and survival expert, Nick Weston is an extraordinary individual with a passion for the outdoors.

Channel 4's Shipwrecked

Nick is well known for his role as a survival guide on the Channel 4 TV show Shipwrecked, where he demonstrates and teaches the contestants survival techniques including fire by friction, building shelters, wild food identification and trapping. 

Chef

Combining his skills in fishing and shooting with a passion for cooking, Nick also works as a chef and is passionate about broadening his skills in cooking through writing lots of new recipes and trying unusual culinary combinations. Nick has written for Olive and Good Food Magazines and has a food blog on the internet.

Tree House Diaries

More recently Nick has moved back to the countryside where he is building a tree house, growing his own vegetables and catching and cooking his own meat. He is documenting these six months in his ‘Tree house Diaries’.  Among his other talents are; surfing, painting and set construction.
