Nicola Horlick is The City's best known, high-flying woman. She an inspirational, charismatic and sought after keynote speaker.
Background and career
Nicola Horlick is a fund management guru and the CEO of Bramdean Asset Management. She has worked in the fund management industry for over twenty years and has participated in the growth of some of the UK's premier asset management businesses which offers 'Bramdiva' - a financial wealth management service which caters specifically to women.
In 1997, Nicola founded SG Asset Management. She was the Chief Executive Officer at Societe Generale Asset Management (U.K.) Limited and Société Générale Asset Management Holdings Ltd. She is still an advisor for the group and a Non Executive Director of the Basingstoke hospital.
Bramdean was established in 2005, and ran a number of alternative investment mandates before selling the bulk of its business to Aberdeen Asset Management. Bramdean continues to create and structure innovative new investment vehicles, primarily for the film industry. Nicola is also Chairman of Rockpool Investments LLP, an investment boutique which invests in private equity deals on behalf of high net worth investors and creates tax-efficient vehicles to facilitate this.
