Sean Fitzpatrick Biography
Sean Fitzpatrick is an amazing team building and motivational speaker, as well as a witty after dinner speaker with many humorous tales to tell about his life as a rugby player and within the media.
Starting off as a player for Auckland, Sean made his international debut in 1986, playing for the All Blacks in the test series against France. He then proceeded to play in the first ever Rugby World Cup in 1987, where he had one of the best moment of his career when the All Blacks won the tournament, beating France in the final at Eden Park.
In 1992, Sean was awarded the prestigious title of captain of the All Blacks, which he held until his retirement from rugby in 1997. He played in 121 international matches and 92 test matches which is a New Zealand record. He also played 51 test matches as an All Black captain, 63 consecutive test matches and has played in 74 test match victories which is more than any other player.
Sean was one of the most durable and best Rugby Union players of all time, ending his career with a tally of 55 points in test matches, including 12 tries and an extremely accurate lineout throw. He is also the second-most capped New Zealand player of all time.
In 1997, Sean was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit by the Governor General. Currently, he is the founder and director of Front Row Hospitality Ltd, a high-end hospitality and events company based in London offering bespoke services to a global client base. As part of this, Front Row Leadership offers a leadership and motivational platform with recognised leaders from sport, business and academia, giving presentations and training sessions to businesses and management to develop and improve their performance.

Sean was the icing on the cake but if I had to be critical I would say it seemed his speech is a standard and perhaps he could adapt it to the audience more but he went down exteremely well especially with performing the Haka!
Sean is a natural inspiration. Everyone enjoyed his presentation which was relevant and enjoyable
Sean draws parallels between sport and business.He mixes well with all levels of the organisation and puts the time in before and after his session to understand the business challenges and relate this to his rugby experiences.
For a big man, who ate other men for breakfast on the playing field, he is surprisingly a very good speaker.He speaks from the head and the heart.As with his game, what you see is what you get and for big organisations this is great to listen to.
