Omid Djalili is a popular stand-up comedian and Hollywood actor. He is also an adept and entertaining awards host and he is high demand at corporate events.

Appearing in notable films including Pirates of the Caribbean, The Mummy, Gladiator and Sex and the City 2, and Notting Hill.

On the small screen, Omidhas appeared on shows from Sport Relief Bake-Off, to Newsnight. He fronted his own HBO special, and was on many episodes of the sitcom Whoopi, alongside Whoopi Goldberg.

Omid originally gained success in the nineties at the Edinburgh Festival where he performed numerous successful shows including ‘Short, Fat, Kebab Shop Owners Son’ and ‘Omid Djalili is Ethnic’

His 2008 show, ‘Omid Djalili Live’ was an even bigger success, he performed one of his 53 tour dates at the London Hammersmith Apollo and the tour was a sell-out.

Nowadays, Omid is known worldwide and is a popular comedian in countries such as Australia, Norway, Switzerland, America and Canada to name a few.

Away from our screens, Omid has trod the boards at London’s Theatre Royal, appearing as Fagin in the West End production of Oliver! He has also voiced a character in the gaming series Grand Theft Auto.
