Ten top celebrities battle to raise the most money for charity from their businesses ovre three gruelling days in Comedy Relief Does the Apprentice. The two teams include comedians Alan Carr & Jack Dee, TV presenter Jonathan Ross, fashion guru Gok Wan and businessman and after dinner speaker Gerald Ratner for the boys and comedienne Ruby Wax, Eastenders star Patsy Palmer, TV personality & maths genius Carol Vorderman, former breakfast presenter Fiona Phillips and Ultimo Bra CEO and conference speaker Michelle Mone for the girls. Under the watchful eyes of Sir Alan Sugar's trusted pair, Nick Hewer and Margaret Mountford, they have just three days to invent, brand and market something original and make some serious money for Comic Relief.
Comic Relief have rallied a plethora of celebrity talent to ensure that the economic downturn does not turn the event into credit crunch Comic Relief! The hosts for the extravaganza are Dr Who actor David Tennant, TV presenters Davina McCall, Fern Britton, Claudia Winkleman, Jonathan Ross and comedians Alan Carr and Graham Norton.
Apart from Comedy Relief Does the Apprentice, other highlights include comedy sketches from Little Britain, the Outnumbered family and Ricky Gervais, a one-off collaboration between Armstrong & Miller and Mitchell and Webb, Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse pitching to the Dragons Den, French and Saunders performing their last sketch together and Gavin and Stacey’s James Corden handing out advice to the England football squad.
