BBC news presenter and awards host, George Alagiah, came to the rescue of a woman who collapsed on the London Underground.
George was travelling on the Victoria Line towards the New Broadcasting House in central London when a woman on his carriage collapsed. One passenger said that when she collapsed, he shouted “don’t move her” at the other passengers. He then put her in the recovery position and helped her up and off the train.
Another passenger who was on the train took to twitter to write “Well that was the strangest tube journey yet. Woman faints in carriage and BBC News presenter George Alagiah saves her!”
