He has provided leadership support to the UK Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit, The United Nations and The World Bank, and is now an accomplished visiting professor at Cass Business School. In 2004 he was awarded an MBE for outstanding service to the business community.

As well as teaching leadership and people management skills, Rene runs workshops on vision, strategy and delivery. He has also established a number of mentoring initiatives to assist the socially deprived in the needier parts of London.  Furthermore, he works with the Institute of Public Policy and Research, a government think-tank advising on UK plcs’ approach to e-commerce.

Rene is a regular guest on various television and radio shows as a business commentator and also contributes to various national newspaper and magazine columns in the UK.  His first book ‘Corporate Voodoo’ was considered a huge success for its challenging and dynamic research.
