Laura Trott OBE is a track and road cyclist, five-time Olympic gold medallist and seven-time World Champion. Pedalling her way to success, Laura specialises in team pursuit, omnium and scratch race disciplines.

Laura broke into the cycling world in 2010 in the European Track Championship, where she won gold. Since then, the formidable competitor has not left the track.

Breaking onto the global stage in 2011, she took her first world title. This was followed by four more gold medals in the lead up to London 2012.

Laura was one of the stars of the 2012 Olympics, both winning a gold medal in the team pursuit and their team setting the world record for this event.

Following this incredible feat, Laura took to road racing, winning the British National Road Race Championship and further gold medals and the World and European championships, Laura has truly cemented her place as a cycling legend.

In the 2016 Olympics, Team GB took gold and made world records with their times, this saw Laura as the first British woman to achieve three golds. Laura’s incredible achievements place her as the ‘it girl’ of cycling.

Laura was awarded an OBE in 2013 for her services to cycling.

In winning her fifth Olympic gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Laura became the first British woman to win gold at three consecutive Olympic Games.

She is a long-standing Adidas athlete and has published a book “The Inside Track” with her husband Sir Jason Kenny, Britain’s most decorated Olympian in history.

Laura has been awarded Harper’s Bazaar ‘Sporting Icons’ award alongside Dame Sarah Storey, with her and her teammate Katie Archibald becoming ‘Sky Sports Team of the Year’ for their Madison gold medal in Tokyo at The Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year.

In 2021 Laura made her punditry debut on Eurosport at the inaugural UCI Track Champions League, in which she raced upon in 2022.

Laura and her husband, Jason, were named in the 2021 New Year Honours List and received their titles together, in May 2022, at Windsor Castle. Titles befitting their achievements and ones they were both truly honoured to receive.
