Ana Palacio has spoken as part of a panel discussing The Future of Capitalism at The Milken Institute’s Global Conference in L.A.
Palacio joined a panel along with other academics, Niall Ferguson, Peter Passell and Raghuram Rajan, all discussing the topic of the Future of Capitalism. For Palacio, ‘the future of capitalism is not a matter of economics...what we need is strong institutions, international and national’.
Palacio began her career as a lawyer, specialising in international and European law, mediation and arbitration. From 1994-2002 she was a Member of the European Parliament and from 2002-2004, she was Spain’s Minister for Foreign Affairs in the People’s Party government of José María Aznar.
Currently, Palacio is a senior fellow and lecturer at Yale University’s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs and is available to speak on topics such as, Globalisation, Economy, Marketing and Climate Change.
