James Cracknell is well under way with the second leg of his mammoth Cross Continent Challenge. He had an amazing first day of the cycle leg and has now covered over 300 miles of his 1,434 miles from Dover to Morocco. He's currently blazing through France on his way from Le Mans to the Bordeaux Region and when most of you were still in bed this morning, James was up and on the saddle and knocking off those miles...
"Really early start. Good because even through my bleary eyes the roads looked nice and clear and I was able to make excellent progress before most people were out of bed. Looking forward to a big breakfast and then back on the bike again!"
Another day gone and James is closer to his meet with David Walliams for the final swimming leg - raising piles of cash for Sport Relief as he goes......which is where you come in.
