With a spectacular presentation at the Speakers Corner showcase event “Future Forum” at the Mermaid Theatre in London, David Rowan’s dedication to re-shaping and defining the future continues.
Wired 2012, a two-day event taking place at the Brewery London on 25-26th October is designed to bring alive the talent, creativity and ambition that can be found in WIRED magazine each month.
The agenda for the two days allows the audience of over 400 people to participate in 15 sessions, one entitled Rethink what you see through to others entitled Cyberwar or Keynote.
Through stimulating topics from science and business to pop culture and politics it entitles the audience to engage, interact and be inspired through an array of award winning speakers. Fellow speakers include Ajaz Ahmed, co-founder of AKQA, Ferran Adria, deemed to be the best chef of the last decade, Michael Acton Smith - founder of kids entertainment company, Mind Candy and Tim Harford - economist, journalist and broadcaster.
David Rowan explains, “There was a very special vibe at WIRED 2011, where in the conference hall you really felt you had a pulse on the future…It was a magical community where ideas exploded, networks were built and minds were hyperstimulated. I can't wait to do it again in 2012."
So, if you want the opportunity to challenge your mind and think outside the box, keep your eyes peeled for the next WIRED magazine and upcoming events!
