A couple of new business programmes are on our screens presented by Dragons Theo Paphitis and Duncan Bannatyne.
Entrepreneur and business speaker, Theo Paphitis is helping UK businesses to venture into emerging markets in Theo's Capitalist Adventure. In the first of the BBC2 series last night, Theo followed three companies hoping for success in Vietnam - a luxury boat chartering business, a specialist teaching service and Haymarket Publications aiming to market its sport and consumer magazines.
Meanwhile Duncan Bannatyne is using his business expertise to turn around Britain's ailing seaside towns in Duncan's Seaside Rescue on Virgin 1. “I’m excited about the challenge that awaits me. I’m all for encouraging Brits to holiday at home and I hope our hard work at the six seaside resorts pays off. These locations all have a lot of potential but just need a bit of love.” At the end of the six part series, Duncan will unveil his updated attractions in a grand finale.
Duncan Bannatyne is also assisting the Labour Party as their 'Seaside Tsar' in launching their Seaside Manifesto setting out plans to reguvenate and reduce unemployment in Britain's seaside resorts.
