Google are constantly creating new and different ways to view the data searched through them on the World Wide Web. In this particular news story, we are highlighting their tool 'Zeitgeist' that gives a snap shot of what people have searched on in 2010. For example Swime Flu no longer seems to be an issue for people but Haita and donating to the Haita crisis has been a dominate trend. Other highlights include the continued dominance of Masterchef in Food & Drink (further kudos for Gregg Wallace, John Torode and Jay Rayner) and the fascination for all about the rise of mobile technology.
It is this sort of data that helps some of Speakers Corner favourite futurists sport trends and give us some insight into how the world is moving and what we can look forward to for 2011.
