Greenwich Comedy Festival Relocates

28th May 2013

The Greenwich Comedy Festival will take place this summer at its new home in Brick Lane, every other year the festival has been hosted at Old Royal Naval College.

For the last four years the Greenwich Comedy Festival has taken place at the Old Royal Naval College; however they have said that they cannot accommodate the size of the giant marquee where the festival is hosted. The festival will now be in the heart of Brick Lane in Allen Gardens Park.

Organisers spoke about the change of venue and said “The new location in the buzz of Brick Lane will breadth fresh air into the festival as it moves into the cultural heart of the city.”

It is a highly popular festival and in the past has hosted comedians such as Bill Bailey, Tim Minchin and Russell Howard. This year’s line up includes Al Murray, Alan Davies, Ed Byrne and Adam Buxton and will take place from July the 10th to the 14th
