Kanya King's 2009 Mobo Awards celebrate music of black origin with a special tribute to one of the greatest singers of all time, Michael Jackson

The 14th Mobo Awards were held in Glasgow last night - a first for the city and hosted by Reggie Yates.  Mobo is the biggest urban music award ceremony, celebrating music of black origin.  It was founded 14 years ago by an entrepreneur who is a favourite as a corporate keynote speaker, Kanya King.

And here are the Mobo Awards 2009 winners:

Best Video: ‘Singles Ladies’, Beyonce

The evening was dedicated as a celebration to Michael Jackson with a tribute from Britain’s got Talent winners, Shaheen Jafargholi and Diversity, who danced to a number of Michael's greatest hits. His sister La Toya gave a moving introduction and his brother Jermaine sang Michael’s favorite song 'Smile'.
