This year’s Ted Global conference is taking place in Edinburgh at the Edinburgh International Conference Center. Some of the world’s most accomplished speakers will take to the stage to talk about the political, economic and environmental issues that we face in today’s society.
The conference takes place over five days, each day there will be different discussion sessions, where the most distinguished speakers in each field will communicate their experiences and opinions to audiences. Bruno Giussani will host the first session which has been titled ‘Moment of Truth’ and involves speeches and discussions from former Greek Prime Minister, George Papandreou, women’s rights activist, Manal Al-Sharif and corporate innovator Steve Howard to name a few.
Some of the other sessions that will be taking place at Ted Global include ‘Exquisite Enigmatic Us’, which involves a speech from singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield and ‘Money Talks’, involving a handful of expert economists. A number of the sessions will be hosted by Chris Anderson as well as Bruno; Chris will be hosting ‘Listening to Nature’, ‘Imagined Beauty’, ‘Money Talks’ and a few others throughout the week.
Keynote speaker and global economist, Dambisa Moyo will also be appearing at Ted Global where she will be discussing ‘Forces of Change’ alongside the former Prime Minister-Elect of Libya, Mustafa Abushagur and other impressive names.
