With the eagerly awaited launch of the iPhone 6 this week you would think considering an ‘upgrade’ might be somewhat premature.
However, it was reported in The Mirror this week that designer and corporate speaker Alexander Amosu is set to do just that by designing a handset worth £1.7m! Yes, you read that right. The Mirror goes onto say that it will be called the 'Amosu Call of Diamond iPhone 6', it will take two months to make and will be painstakingly handset with over 6,127 brilliant cut diamonds.’
Alexander Amosu, an entrepreneur who turned his interest in technology and the mobile phone industry into a commercial success story is known for ‘pimping’ mobile phone products into luxury gold plated and diamond encrusted products. He had previously worked with Apple on their iPhone 2 which sold for nearly £90K. Not wishing to stop there Alexander has taken this opulent business model into other areas including suits and champagnes.
If the new Amosu iPhone 6 is a little over your monthly budget mobile phone review site GSM Arena reports that Alexander will be releasing a gold plated version for around £2400.
