Linda Bellos OBE

Linda Bellos OBE is a renowned consultant, trainer and writer, specialising in the field of equality and diversity. She is a skilled and motivational communicator who is popular as a conference speaker and facilitator. She was responsible for introducing Black History Month to the UK and continually acts as a leading authority on equality and human rights law and its practical application across the public sector. Linda has an excellent track record of enabling Council Members, Executive Boards and senior managers to reach effective solutions in challenging situations.

Linda Bellos OBE is a leading authority on equality and human rights law and its practical application across the public sector. Chair of the Institute of Equality and Diversity Practitioners, she also runs Linda Bellos Associates. She has an excellent track record of enabling Council Members, Executive Boards and senior managers to reach effective solutions in challenging situations. She has extensive experience of working with public sector contractors.

Linda works in an inspirational and motivational manner. Her master classes in equality law are in great demand by Boards and senior executives. She delivers consultancy and training contracts that include equality strategies, plans, impact assessments, briefings and training courses across a wide range of specialist topics to central and local government politicians, board members, executive managers, strategists and policy makers. She also works with public sector team leaders and their staff to maintain an up-to-date insight into the pressures they face on the front line.

Linda was awarded an OBE for her services to diversity in the 2007 New Year’s Honours List. In 1987, as Chair of the London Strategic Policy Unit, she was responsible for introducing Black History Month to the UK.

Linda is a regular guest contributor on national radio and television programmes, speaking mainly on current equality and diversity issues. She is a published author who has written many essays and letters on equality and diversity topics.

Linda is in great demand as a chairperson and speaker at conferences across the UK.
