Simon Evans is a razor-sharp and incredibly intelligent comedian, one of the UK’s best-loved acts, he never fails to leave audiences with their sides splitting and eyes watering.

Simon’s routines can be described as ‘adult’, in the most positive sense of the word, leading to top comedy reviewers describing him as ‘demonically dry’ (Metro) and ‘sublime’ (The Guardian).

Having written for Jimmy Carr, Dara O’ Briain, Sean Lock, Lee Mack and Marcus Brigstocke, Simon appears regularly on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Unbelievable Truth and Armando Iannucci’s Charm Offensive.

He has written and presented several series of the news satire The Way It Is, and has appeared as part of the Comedians’ team on University Challenge – The Professionals.

As a regular and unique performer for the Variety Club and the Lord’s Taverners, Simon has become known for his ability to deliver a completely clean set without compromising on the laughs.

No stranger to a TV set, he appeared on The Krypton Factor in 1994 before he was famous – as well as in adverts for Strongbow cider and participating on the losing team on University Challenge in 2007.

2014 saw Simon get involved with huge charity projects, where he joined Mount Everest Base Camp played host to "Stand up on Everest" at 5365m above sea level. Simon was accompanied by fifty eager fans on a gruelling nine-day trek high into the Nepalese Himalayas. At Base Camp, along with other comedians, he performed on a purpose-built stage to their fellow trekkers and other climbers awaiting their turn to summit the World's highest mountain.

Gigging in countless prestigious venues, Simon has cemented his name on the comedy circuit as a brilliant performer, ideal for after-dinner and corporate events.
