Representing England over 100 times and winning multiple club and individual honours, Eniola Aluko is an accomplished footballer, lawyer, media personality, philanthropist and best-selling author who continues to break the mould in Media as the first ever female football pundit to appear on Match of the Day and the first female footballer pundit for ITV at a the men’s world cup in Russia.

Eniola Aluko is an accomplished footballer, lawyer, media personality, philanthropist and best-selling author.

She has represented England over 100 times and won multiple club and individual honours for Chelsea before moving to Juventus in 2018, where she won the league and Cup double in her first year and where she is currently playing.

Aside from football, Eniola has a First class law degree and her legal career has led her to assisting in negotiating contracts and commercial rights in the media and entertainment industry on behalf of David Beckham, One Direction and singer Bastille.

She also continues to break the mould in the Media as the first ever female football pundit to appear on Match of the Day on 28th September 2014 and then went on to make history as the first female footballer pundit for ITV at a the men’s world cup in Russia.  During the recent Women’s World Cup in France, Eniola was one the leading pundits for FOX Sports.  She has also appeared as a guest editor on radio 4 Women’s Hour with other remarkable women such as Angelina Jolie.

In October 2018 Eniola was named by Marie Claire as one of the ten Future shapers award winners and is passionate about health and wellbeing, self-image, confidence and equality of opportunity for girls and women all over the world.

Always lending her voice and platform to champion social progress, Eniola has served as an ambassador for UN Women UK and was recently announced as the newest member of footballer’s social change movement, Common Goal.

Eniola’s memoir book titled “They don’t teach this – lessons in the game of life” was published on 2019 and has been nominated for the prestigious William Hill sports book of the year. The book steps beyond the realms of a memoir to explore themes of dual nationality, identity, race, success, failure and faith.
