Q: What can a typical corporate audience learn from your experiences?
How music can be used to inspire and motivate people but also Captains of industry and even Nations. Music is a global language.
Q: How did you first get into public speaking?
I first undertook speaking engagements as a student bandmaster in the army, these were designed to develop public speaking, however, I really enjoyed it and have continued ever since.
Q: Which event has been your favourite and why?
Opening Live8 was a special buzz because of the massive crowd and meeting all the stars backstage.
Q: Why do you love speaking to a crowd?
I have been truly blessed with my career and feel so proud to have been responsible for the Royal Family and the National major ceremonial events that I just want to share the stories and my life with people.
Q: If you could speak at any event, past or future, what would it be?
To speak as the conductor at the end of Last Night of the Proms; that would be magical

Q: What do you do to ensure your presentation has a lasting impact?
By giving behind the scenes anecdotes of life as the principal military conductor to the Queen.
Q: What’s your favourite way to spend a Sunday?
Reading the papers a bit of gardening a leisurely family lunch followed by a country walk.
Q: What personal ambition must you fulfill before you die?
To take my own orchestra on a world tour.
