Duncan Bannatyne on Comic Relief Celebrity Great British Bake-Off Line-Up

The popular show will be returning for a four-part Comic Relief celebrity special on BBC Two.

The ratings hit which had 3.5 million viewers for its Christmas special and was voted as the best reality show of 2012 by Digital Spy readers is back with 16 celebrities all competing with their baking skills to raise money for charity.

The usual celebrity chefsMary Berry and Paul Hollywood , will be judging the celebrities but Mel Giedroyc will be presenting alone without her usual co-presenter, Sue Perkins .

The first celebrities to be announced were comedian Jo Brand, stand-up comedian Stephen K Amos and comedy double act, Lorna Watson and Ingrid Oliver.

More recent additions include comedian and actor Warwick Davis and the Paralympic champion Ellie Simmonds .

Presenters Claudia Winkleman , Kirsty Wark, Julia Bradbury  and Blue Peter presenter Andy Akinwolere are set to appear on the show, alongside comedian Bob Mortimer, famed for his double act with Vic Reeves.

Also appearing is Dragon’s Den star and successful entrepreneur Duncan Bannatyne  who said of his appearance on the show that, ‘It may surprise some people but I actually enjoy cooking. Baking is something I have never really done before but wanted to try.’
