Humphrey Pitman

Hi, I'm Humphrey. I grew up in West, then South London and have spent significant time in Lagos, Nigeria, with my adopted father. I spent 12 years of my life working on major feature film & TV sets across ADs and Locations, and hold an MA in Directing Film from MET in Ealing Studios.

In 2021, I started my career in sales as a Technical Advisor at CVP, where I worked for 3 years, furnishing production companies, rental houses and television studios across the country and around the world with state-of-the-art equipment. Before joining Speakers Corner, I worked as an Account Manager and Product Designer for FilmTailorAI, a UK-based start up developing software for producing scripted narratives. I am so excited for this next evolution of my career, selling the world's most fascinating personalities instead of physical products, and I feel very honoured to be joining the elite speaker bureau in business.

I absolutely love reading fiction, going to the cinema (my local is The Ritzy in Brixton and surely the most beautiful theatre in the world) and spending time cooking obscenely delicious food to enjoy with friends and family. I've been studying mixed martial arts religiously since 2009 and hold Black Belt in Sanda. And, it's a well-known and incontestable fact that I am the proud owner of the world's most affectionate, intelligent, well-mannered and deliriously happy little cat, Whisper, who is my pride and joy.
